Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Liz Cahill joined the Portland veterinary community after earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2023. Originally from Queens, New York, she discovered her passion for veterinary medicine early on, drawn by a lifelong love of animals and an equally strong interest in science. From the moment she stepped into her first clinic, she knew she’d found her calling.

Dr. Cahill has a special interest in surgery, pathology, and end-of-life care. She is passionate about helping pets live their healthiest, happiest lives—and supporting their humans every step of the way. She’s known for her problem-solving mindset, gentle approach, and dedication to clear, compassionate communication.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cahill is an avid traveler, video game enthusiast, and proud foodie. She shares her home with her dachshund, Sarge, and her two cats, Mars and Apollo. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places, trying local eats, and spending time with her fiancé and their furry trio.
